Our teachers are excited about the privilege of teaching your children about the love of God. They are committed to their classes and enjoy preparing games and lessons each week.

Age-Appropriate Classes

English Sunday school consists of three different classes for different age groups. A preschool class for children up to 5 years of age, 6-11 year old class, and a class for teenagers.

Engaging & Fun

We believe that going to church should be a positive experience for children to set the tone for the rest of their Spiritual life. Our classes are fun and engaging with games and songs to support the Bible lesson.

About English Sunday School.

English Sunday School is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church in Morogoro. Founded 8 years ago, our Sunday School has grown from just a handful of students to three classes with dozens of children from all over the world attending each week. The "Littles" (ages 0-5) enjoy a fun class tailored to their needs on the church playground. The "middle class" (ages 6-11) have a fun and energetic class taught by our pastor's wife. The Trailblazers (teens) come together for a time of Bible study that addresses the unique stage of life they are in. Each class enjoys games, songs and snacks each week. The class is each Sunday morning from 11am-12:30 at the Faith Baptist Church property.

Special Events & Activities

In addition to our weekly classes, we hold special events and activities several times a year. Each Easter, we have an annual English Easter service for both adults and kids. Our annual Christmas party and play is always a highlight for parents and kids alike. For the teens, we hold monthly activities and Bible studies. In addition to these regular events, we also have other activities during the year.

0-5 year old class

Kellie Morrow

Kellie is mother to an energetic 2 year old and has both the energy and patience to convey the love of God to the little ones as she teaches them the Bible story each week. Having gained experience working in daycares in the US, she is up to the task each week.

Rachel Wyatt

Having founded the English Sunday School in 2013, Rachel has a love for each and every child that attends Sunday School. She has watched many of the kids grow from small children to young men and women. She pours her heart into her class each week.

Montana Morrow

Montana has worked with teens for many years both in college and since graduating. The "Trailblazer" class started in May 2021 and has blossomed under his leadership. His passion for teaching and his love for his students are felt by all who attend his class.
